The RFL has approved the transfer of membership of Keighley Cougars to a new consortium.
The club had been placed in special measures under their previous ownership, but are now free to sign players ahead of the 2019 League One season.
As a result of the recent circumstances surrounding the club and the transfers of membership, the news owners have accepted that they should start the season with a 12-point deduction.
They will also enter both the 1895 Cup and the Coral Challenge Cup. They will also continue to play at Cougar Park
Former Chairman Mick O’Neill who heads the new consortium have said he wants to bring back the days of Cougarmania.
